It's true; I haven't gotten in touch with you in awhile. But I hate talking on the phone, and I was away on a non beer-related trip that I didn't think you would want to read about.
But I'm back, and have some actual beer news to write about. O'Niell's Nob Hill location will be hosting a Sierra Nevada tap takeover this Saturday, Sept. 15. From the time they open the doors till the time the beer runs out you can enjoy the likes of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (but why would you go to the tap takeover and order a beer that even bowling alleys carry??), Tumbler Brown Ale, Torpedo IPA, Kellerweis, and the speciality Beer Camp series Oatmeal Stout, Imperial Pilsner, and Floral IPA. a Sierra rep will be there from 7-10 with merchandise to hand out and wisdom to pass on. Be the first to ask the story of how Torpedo got its name. Find out which Grossman brother is the least miserable. Or just go up to the rep and say, "I'd like something better than a keychain, please."
